“Walkies!” celebrates the simple joy of dogs exploring the outdoors. Illustrated dogs wander through painted landscapes inspired by Plymouths dog walking spots and spotted dogs of Plymouth, wrapping playfully around the sculpture to capture movement, curiosity and the excitement every dog feels when it’s time for a walk.

Developed through Whitestone Works, our new writer development programme, these work-in-progress sharings offer a chance to experience four original pieces as they take their next steps towards production and beginning with a residency at Whistestone Arts in the beautiful surroundings of the Haworth Moors, the writers have spent the past few months developing their work with support from actors, directors and dramaturgs. On 15 July, segments of these will be shared with an audience for the first time.
